About Us
College Heights Swim Team (CHST) is a summer youth swimming program that aims to accommodate all levels of ability through the Gators Swim Team and the Developmental Team. The Developmental Team swimmers work toward participating in a swim meet by the end of the season.
Membership is offered to any child of a member in good standing of the College Heights Pool, provided the following conditions are met:
- the child meets age requirements of the team
- the annual registration fee is paid
- the required RSL insurance waiver is completed by a parent/guardian
- the child has a parent, guardian, adult family member, or family friend fulfilling a volunteer job at a swim meet (for swim team; not for developmental team)
CHST Board of Directors conducts team business and activities. When possible, board member terms are staggered and often roles are rotated to facilitate cross-training and maintain consistent operations. In addition to board members, swim team parent volunteers fill other key roles to keep our Gator swimmers in the pool every summer and having fun competing at swim meets with friends.
