Signup Instructions for Meets
When your family team account is active, you can sign up for swim meets and volunteer jobs that are "open" instead of "pending" or "closed." Reminders will be sent when sign ups are open and when they close each week for meets.
INSTRUCTIONS
Log in to your family account on the website (top right corner).
If you can’t remember your password, click "Forgot your password" to reset it.
SWIMMER SIGNUPS
To swim in a meet, a
swimmer must be marked “attending” in the MEET ENTRY for that meet. When a meet sign up is marked "open," sign up to let the coaches know your child(ren) will participate in the meet, then sign up to choose a volunteer job!
- Be sure you're logged in to your family account.
- Select “Meets & Events” tab at the top.
- Select Signup Calendar under “Meets & Events.”
- See a list of all CHST meets for the current RSL season.
- Click on the green MEET ENTRY rectangle next to each meet listed.
- You should see “Your family swim meet status” and each child listed below.
- Click on the purple EDIT button below your swimmer(s).
- Click on the drop down box by each child’s name; choose attending or not.
- In the “Notes for coach” section, list anything helpful for the coaches to know
- Click SAVE at the bottom to record your choices!
VOLUNTEER JOB SIGNUPS
** Look for the Volunteer Job SignUp to be marked "open" for each meet, then choose a job you are eligible to fill to support your swimmer and the Gator team. ** Disregard the "points" listed; they are pre-loaded by RSL for teams that track points. CHST has a sign up guideline instead --- sign up for a volunteer job if you have a swimmer in a meet.
If your child is signed up to swim in a meet but a family member is not signed up for a volunteer job, you will be assigned an open job required by the league to run the meet. We need every Gator family actively participating to support the team!
New families or volunteers that haven't attended a training, you can always sign up to be a timer at away or home meets. Read about other jobs on our site or ask us!
